Aleksandra Catania is the Founder and Creative Director of Modo Mio Design. Her design philosophy is rooted in the belief that a well-designed home should feel both effortless and deeply personal. Originally from Sweden, she has always been drawn to the way design shapes the way we live, developing a deep appreciation for Italian and Scandinavian craftsmanship and the warmth of mid-century design over the years.
Her journey into interiors was shaped by years of travel, exploring how different cultures approach design and the relationship between form and function. She studied business and marketing at the University of Southern California and interior design at Parsons in New York, bringing both an artistic eye and a strategic mindset to every project. Aleksandra believes a home should be a reflection of the people who live in it—where every piece tells a story and every space invites a sense of ease.
